Former Rivers APC Spokesman Reveals Why He Dumped The Party
Hon. Ogbonna Nwuke, the immediate past Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State has revealed why he officially dumped the APC.
Nwuke while addrsesing newsmen in Port Harcourt on Monday said his decision followed his perceived “marginalization and abandonment of Etche people” under the watch of his friend and the current administration of federal government led by the APC.
Nwuke lamented that for six years Etche people were yet to feel any “impact of the federal government” particularly in the “empowerment, appointment and infrastructural development”.
According to him, it was wrong for him to remain in a party that promised his people change but never bothered to effect it.
He noted that he has now decided to ” align with those who are ready to develop Etche”.
Politics Hub Nigeria reports that Hon. Nwuke had recently resigned his position as the spokesman of the party.
He is said to be perfecting plans to defect to the ruling PDP in Rivers State.
