INEC Releases Final List Of Guber Candidates For Anambra Election

Ahead of the governorship election to hold in Anambra State this November, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the final list of Governorship Candidates for the election.

INEC also released the final register of Voters for the election.

According to a statement signed by the National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, Mr.Festus Okoye Esq, on Thursday, these releases were done after a meeting of the Commission.

Okoye also disclosed that INEC will on Friday hold an emergency consultative meeting with the leadership of all the registered political parties in Nigeria at the Commission’s Headquarters in Abuja.

INEC in the statement further assured the people of Anambra State of its resolve to secure the preparation processes for the conduct of the Governorship election and ensure that their right to vote in a safe and secure environment is guaranteed.
